CFIE Segovia and UNEATLANTICO promote DigitalTA in a day of internationalization and dissemination of Erasmus+ projects in Segovia

The Center for Training and Educational Innovation of Segovia (CFIE Segovia) organized on January 15 the “Internationalization and Dissemination of Erasmus+ Projects Day” in the Assembly Hall of the IES Mariano Quintanilla de Segovia with the participation of Dr. Thomas Prola, professor at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) and co-coordinator of the DigitalTA project, and the presence of more than 80 teachers from the locality.

After the reception of attendees and presentation of the conference, Javier Magdaleno Fuentetaja, head of the Teacher Training, Innovation, and Internationalization Service, opened the conference by presenting the Erasmus DigitalTA project.

Next, Nadia Sánchez Santos, Technical Teaching Advisor (ATD) for Bilingualism and Internationalization of the Provincial Directorate of Segovia, informed the attendees about the Erasmus+ 2025 Call. This information was complemented by the presentation “Importance of Erasmus+ to Internationalize Schools, Useful Tips” by Andrés Ajo Lázaro, former director of the School and Adult Education Unit of the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE).

Dr. Thomas Prola, together with CFIE Segovia advisors, Jesús Solera and María Fuentes, presented the progress of the project to the attendees. During the session, other Erasmus+ experiences were shared in a round table. Finally, Diego Pozo, head of the Provincial Directorate of Education of Segovia, was in charge of closing the day.

On the DigitalTA project platform, professors from the different member countries share their concerns and worries, especially in the case of students and new professors, which are answered by more experienced professors in the role of mentors and tutors and even among themselves. The main participants from Segovia are active professors, both new and mentors. These teachers contribute to the enrichment of the platform with their experiences, cases, and resources. The day symbolized a moment of encounter among them to share their experiences with the platform.

This dissemination activity is in addition to other events in which CFIE Segovia has participated in recent months, such as the I Erasmus+ Congress of CFIE León and the presentation of the project to the advisors in charge of teacher training in Castilla y León.
